During Kindergarten training; the puppy will receive so many benefits while training for four weeks!

We teach the basics in the first 2 weeks, then we do a lot of reinforcement for the next 2 weeks, a total of 4 weeks of training.

Consistency is the KEY to this program. This program is for novice puppy owners. However, it's ideal for those that want a more comprehensive program that will render a better-trained family member. Due to the extended length of the program, I will be able to work with the puppy more in-depth, with more hours to build stability and communication on your expectations.

 

I will have more time to get to know your puppy and fine-tune the skills that were introduced in the first two weeks, as they grow.

 

• Your puppy will be on a schedule of eating, drinking, and going potty to make house training less stressful. You will receive a copy of this schedule with videos of training progress 2x a week.

• Your puppy will be crate trained, meaning in most cases your puppy can hold potty and remain quiet overnight and for four hours during the day.

• Your puppy will be familiar with the taking and following of treats and wear a collar and leash.  Many new puppy owners do not realize how important this is in the training process, and that this does not come naturally to a puppy.

• More practice to maintain consistent results with the obedience commands on leash, "attention" (his/her name), "sit",  "leave it", "down", and "come",  "place", and "heel".

• Your puppy will know the four feedback words of "good", "nope", "okay" and "leave it" to aid in communication.

• Your puppy will be introduced to weekly basic grooming and maintenance such as brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and sanitary clean-ups with the clippers.

• Your puppy will receive socialization throughout the day with children and other household pets.

• Puppies in the 4-week program will have the benefit of additional socialization, which means a more well-rounded puppy. Upon request, puppies in this group can also be introduced to the bell as a means for signaling the need to go outside to potty.

  • Your puppy will have one public training session, in a high populated area. (We do  not  allow strangers to pet.)

Some owners like the benefits of the hard work being tackled for them and the owners only need to learn how to keep up and continue the advanced training foundation already laid for them or a started service dog prospect.

• This package DOES NOT include the purchase price of a puppy.

• With a fully-trained puppy, your young dog receives:

• E-collar foundation for solid, 100% enjoyable obedience and control in any setting. (Public places, at home, etc.)

• Training at various stores in high foot traffic areas, successfully performing commands on and off-leash.

• 15 hours of in-public training.

• Exposure to guests coming over, and your puppy trained to maintain "Place" until its time for them to say hello! (eliminating jumping, overstimulation, and unwanted hyper behavior)

• Potty training in the kennel overnight.

• Holding it up to 7 hours during the day when crated.

• Signals for going outside and needing to go potty.

• Commands learned and thoroughly understood. Come, heel, sit, down, place, leave it, off, no, wait, and kennel.

• The place command being held (implied sit, down, and stay put until the owner releases you) for 45 minutes to 2 hours. Downs are being held for 45 minutes.

• Socialization with other dogs of all sizes and ages, socializing with people, and understanding personal space.

•  Vet care completed (bi-weekly worming, vaccines) -  besides spay/neuter.

• Exposed to children and adults of all ages.

• Puppy habits such as chewing, nipping, and jumping are all tackled, and your older puppy will understand not to do these things.

• Understanding thresholds, leaving the front door open is OK, and your puppy will not run out and explore the neighborhood.

• Learning that the UPS or FedEx truck is not a signal to be wild.

• Insurance through PetFirst Insurance for the full length of training stay.

• Regular baths & nail trims

• Start on tooth brushing

• Regular fur trims around the puppy's face, feet, and booty

• Professional grooming before arriving home

• Up-to-date on vaccines - including distemper and rabies vaccines (records to transfer to the new owner at the time of puppy's arrival)​
